My Mission

Long ago I recognized my innate passion to connect with others and help to access the deepest wells of healing capacity that we all have within us. I have since focused my life’s work on guiding those I work with through the often delicate process of becoming more fully integrated, embodied and whole. As a Clinical Psychologist, my goal is to facilitate the process of self-awareness and acceptance in each person I work with, acting as a container where healing can occur. Beyond my classic training in Western psychological treatment methods, I have integrated other means of healing into my work to bring those I work with through the challenges of change and to regain a consciousness that begins deep within the body and reaches out beyond the boundaries of the self. My early training and work as a Music Therapist fueled my interest in Mind-Body therapies, laying the groundwork for the development of the soma/spirit centered psychotherapy I utilize today in my private practice.
As a teacher and mentor, my aim is to help others open to the broader consciousness that is available as a partner to us in fulfilling our highest potentials. I have deep faith in the ability of the human spirit/mind/body to repair itself and transcend the fragmentation that life can bring; we need only find the path that reconnects us to the powerful consciousness and divinity that resides within each of us. My hope is to help each individual tap into and develop their own unique way of connecting to the path that brings their life to its greatest Fruition.
My Methods and Tools

In the more than 20 years I have been working as a Clinical Psychologist, I have gathered a number of unique tools and methods to help engage my clients with their deepest sense of themselves and their life path. My life-long involvement in the arts and my training in depth psychology led me to an integration of methods that tap into and draw upon resources from the deep well of our individual and collective unconscious and that may resonate with those seeking self-discovery and healing through wholistic means.
In the late 1990's I began my exploration and use of a variety of ancient divination systems, including the I Ching, the Tarot and astrology, as part of a unique process I have developed which merges these systems with Western Clinical Psychological theory and practice. I have had great success utilizing this method with clients, a method which reaches into the collective experience of mankind and assists in individual empowerment and healing. See the Projects and Events page for more information.
My Path to Now

My path to now has been a rich and rewarding one, one which has lead me with purpose and synchronicity, to my current pursuits and adventures. I began my career as a Music Therapist and explored creative arts therapies throughout my Masters training. Depth Psychology was the focus of my Doctoral studies and has been the basis for my work as a practicing Clinical Psychologist and Psychoanalyst for over 20 years ago now. I have worked with children and adults, couples and families, and pioneered the field of integrative health psychology.
Along with my clinical work, I have been involved in higher education and the development of the field of Complimentary Health Care. I served as the Director of Clinics at the New York College of Allied Health for nearly 10 years, where I developed new curricula in the field of Complimentary Health Care and contributed to numerous policy making committees. Since 2008 I have served as Adjunct Professor at the University of Bridgeport's College of Naturopathic Medicine, where I teach counseling and assessment skills to students of Naturopathic Medicine. My role as educator and mentor is a great joy to me and compliments the clinical work that I do.
The last 10 years I have devoted myself to my private practice, to research into the themes that define my current works and to the creation of my coaching and consulting firm, Fruition Dynamic Change Services. I have a beautiful family which I raised, as well!
In addition to these pursuits, I have authored and published a number of book chapters and articles and have presented at workshops and conferences nation wide. I co-created and host a radio show, Radio2Women, which focuses on issues of health, politics, education and public interest, especially in relation to women.
My most recent project focuses on themes of transpersonal consciousness and spiritual growth and has culminated in the foundation of the enlanded Center for Conscious Evolution, a center for the cultivation of spiritual intelligence. For more information on enlanded, please see the Projects and Events page on this site.
I continue to explore new paths that enrich the lives of my clients and students, as well as my own. Life is a wheel of experience and never ending change and I am excited to flow and grow with its current, always adding to my repertoire of healing methods.
